Black Label Outlet

The Challenge

Black Label Outlet is a luxury women’s fashion store that sells high-end designer goods at a significant discount. The Digital Panda was hired to define the company brand and it’s online shopping experience.

The Solution

We removed the excess parts from the company name as a metaphor of discounts and left only the bare minimum.

The result is a minimalist, typographic logo that was applied to the Black Label Outlet website. Black and white in essence, the brand assets are designed to let customers focus on the bright apparel the company brings to them.
The Black Label logotype is the core element of the company’s graphic language. It is designed in an adaptive and multi-screen world in mind — having various forms that allows for optimal fit regardless of available real-estate.

We created a basic guide outlining the Black Label Outlet identity elements best use practices.

User Experience and Interface Design

Wireframes

As we worked on the branding, we started to think about Black Label's future website structure, basic user flows and hierarchy.

Wireframes and an interactive prototype is a great way to settle on a hierarchy and approve the backbone of each page. Even at this high-level phase of design, we consider layout and create fairly detailed prototypes.

Visual Design

When the structure is tried and tested, we apply the developed branding principles to the interface, paying special attention to mobile and interactions. First, the homepage is designed.
